Reward and Compensation - developing and implementing pay and reward policy so it is consistent, compliant with legislation, supports company policy and the financial impact evaluated.

Projects include:

  • Review of the performance management and performance pay systems for a major government department, making recommendations ensuring consistent outcomes from the performance management system and performance pay recognises and rewards the appropriate staff.
  • Developing a strategic framework for a new pay and grading system and working with stakeholders to agree criteria for the design of the new system. Then developing and implementing a system meeting the agreed criteria.
  • Senior reward manager (interim) with a government department, responsible for business as usual including the annual pay and performance pay reviews, and developing policies consistent with the business model. Project work included:
    • developing and implementing a revised overtime policy
    • agreeing, implementing and communicating a Total Reward Statement
    • working with the Oracle team to define and agree the functionality and MI required by Reward and Performance on the transfer of the HR system to a shared service centre.

Clients include the Department of Health, Identity and Passport Service, Inland Revenue and the Export Credits Guarantee Department.
